Kapiva Enters Clinical Care Segment with Launch of Ayurveda Clinics to Deliver Structured Chronic Disease Management

Kapiva has launched Kapiva Ayurveda Clinics, entering the clinical care segment with structured chronic disease management services focused on diabetes, heart health, chronic pain, and women’s health. The model features long consultations, personalized treatment plans, and continuous follow-up care across Bengaluru clinics.

Kapiva, one of India’s leading science-backed Ayurveda brands, has announced its entry into the clinical care segment with the launch of Kapiva Ayurveda Clinics, marking a strategic expansion from a product-led portfolio to structured, continuity-driven treatment systems. The development comes as the company completes ten years in the Ayurveda category and signals its transition into integrated healthcare delivery for chronic conditions.

The newly launched clinical model focuses on four major chronic health areas: diabetes, heart health, chronic pain, and women’s health. The initiative is designed to address the rising burden of chronic diseases in India, which is increasingly affecting individuals in their twenties and thirties, alongside older populations.

A 2024 Government of India survey highlights that nearly half of the population has used AYUSH systems for prevention or treatment of health conditions, reflecting the growing reliance on holistic healthcare approaches in the country. Kapiva’s clinic model aims to respond to this shift by offering structured care for individuals who struggle with continuity in treatment and require sustained medical guidance beyond initial consultation.

At the core of the Kapiva Ayurveda Clinics model is an in-depth consultation lasting between 45 and 60 minutes, focused on identifying root causes of illness rather than addressing surface-level symptoms. This stands in contrast to the average doctor consultation duration in India, which typically ranges between 5 and 10 minutes.

Following diagnosis, each patient is provided with a personalized Ayurvedic treatment plan designed for practical daily implementation. The treatment framework is presented in clear language and structured to ensure adherence rather than remain a static prescription. The care model further includes scheduled follow-ups on Day 7, Day 14, and Day 21, along with continuous post-care support to ensure completion of the treatment cycle within a unified care journey.

The integrated model combines physician-led diagnosis, personalized nutrition planning, lifestyle modification guidance, artificial intelligence-enabled diagnostics, and, where required, Panchakarma therapy and therapeutic oil massage treatments.

Commenting on the launch, Ameve Sharma, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Kapiva, stated that comprehensive Ayurvedic care requires a deeply personalized approach extending beyond product-based solutions. He noted that the clinical setup was developed in response to direct consumer feedback seeking structured and continuous support, emphasizing that the initiative represents a full-circle expansion of Kapiva’s customer-focused philosophy.

Over the past decade, Kapiva has established itself in the chronic wellness segment through product-based solutions targeting root-cause health management. The clinic model extends this philosophy into structured clinical care, integrating consultation, treatment, and follow-up into a continuous therapeutic journey for chronic disease management.

Kapiva Ayurveda Clinics currently operate across three locations in Bengaluru, including Whitefield, HSR Layout, and Sarjapur Road. Each facility offers consultations and treatment services for diabetes, heart health, chronic pain, and women’s health. The company plans to expand further within Bengaluru before evaluating multi-city expansion opportunities.

The launch also follows Kapiva’s announcement of the Kapiva Innovation Fund, a dedicated corpus of 50 crore rupees aimed at supporting research and innovation in Ayurveda. This initiative reinforces the company’s broader objective of building a comprehensive Ayurveda-based healthcare ecosystem that extends beyond product manufacturing into clinical care and scientific advancement.

Kapiva’s entry into clinical care marks a significant development in the evolution of Ayurveda-based healthcare delivery in India, positioning the brand within structured chronic disease management systems supported by consultation-driven and continuity-focused treatment frameworks.
